Helping Daddy Take Notes
I mentioned last night that Rebecca spent a bunch of time with me after supper — it was almost as if I’d been gone for days and she missed me (instead of spending every waking moment with me throughout several days). Here’s the video from that, and a few photos, all taken by my wife.

Nov. 29, 2012: Portraits, Cookies, & Skyfall
Took our family Christmas portrait today. That took about 30 minutes of Rebecca-wrangling. You’d think after I’ve taken 10,000 (estimated) photos of her, she would be okay with having her photo taken. If we got one usable picture today, I’ll be happy.

This morning, I mowed the back yard and one side. It’s about all I can do before Rebecca starts getting lonely. Then she played in the garage while I finished installing the shelves that I’d begun the night before. (Pictures coming, maybe tomorrow.)

Dumped bags of topsoil in backyard low spots. Went to pool, spent 15 minutes cleaning pool first — all chairs and tables were IN the pool, except for the one table that was disassembled and the one that had been tossed over the fence into the weeds. Swam for about an hour. Lunch at home.[...]
