Rebecca woke with a dry diaper this morning and kept her panties dry all day, using her potty correctly all day. We spent the day shifting from (1) us asking if she needed to go to (2) her telling us when she needed to go. And, after three days of holding it, she went #2[...]
Rebecca kept her diaper dry all morning, while MF was at work, and then wore panties the rest of the day, keeping them dry too. She even surprised us by staying dry during a supper trip to Dairy Queen (she had requested an ice cream cone). We put a diaper on her for the trip[...]
Houses should come with more shelves, in my opinion. One can never have too many shelves, cupboards, cabinets, closets, and “storage solutions”.
Shelf I mentioned yesterday: (Copyright © 2013 by Wil C. Fry. All rights reserved.) It spans the east wall of bathroom #2, over the door. It’s 59 inches long and 7.5 inches deep, made from a 1″x8″ of “select pine” with 1″x2″ rails on each edge and a pipe supporting it in the middle.

Frustrating morning with RLF. She’d say she wanted to play hide-n-seek; I would hide and then she’d just ignore me. She’d ask me to read a book, choose a book and bring it to me; I’d start reading it and she would walk away. This went on all morning. After nap time, she was much[...]
Rebecca watched and enjoyed Wreck-it-Ralph in the morning; we made a trip to Lowes for spade drill bits and Rebecca found a pink tape measure she liked ($3). She’s been borrowing my tape measures for months, so I figured it was time she had her own. Afternoon: I finished sanding the boards I’d cut yesterday,[...]
RLF & I went to H-E-B (supermarket) in the morning for some fruit and meat. I like that the store gives “Buddy Bucks” if the customer has a child. It gives the kid something to look forward to as they shop. The Buddy Bucks are just play money that the cashier gives the kid. The[...]
