Rebecca ran for the first time today (the technical difference between walking fast and running is that when you run both feet are off the ground at the same time). She was racing with two boys down the sidewalk — one of them is four and one is three.

Rebecca last nursed on Tuesday, March 13, at 17 months and two days old. The past few days were rainier and colder than the bulk of this January, but still warmer than one would expect for winter. We managed to get Rebecca out of the house several times — always a goal during my wife’s days off. (2 images after the jump)

Rebecca has grown a little more talkative over the last couple of days. Don’t get me wrong; she’s been blabbing gibberish the whole time, but she added a few new words to her vocabulary yesterday and today.

After a cooler than average spring, yesterday was the hottest day of the year (high: 92°F) until today’s record high of 96°F. Had a pretty good day with Rebecca (scroll down for photos).
