I’m going out on a limb here and saying we’re done with this year’s 100-degree days… This year, we saw 100°F or hotter on 29 days, most of them grouped into streaks of several days at a time. Our longest streak was seven, from Aug. 29 through Sept. 4.
I figure I might as well post this now… I don’t expect anymore 100-degree days this year. This year, we saw 100°F or hotter on 38 days, more than half of them in a 21-day streak from July 28 through Aug. 17.
