2015.12: Early Christmas Trip

RnB in the minivan, ready to head home, Dec. 14 (Copyright © 2015 by Wil C. Fry.) A few days ago, my wife and I — and our offspring — returned safely and happily from a five-day trip to Oklahoma for a bit of an early Christmas celebration with family — and a surprise birthday[…]

Here’s the story, as brief as I know how. (Images will follow in a later entry, I assume.)

2014.07.22: First Full Day (& Images)

(Edited to add “Same day, different year”) Today — my first full day home alone — I caught up a bit on some coding for my website, stuff that had been left undone for quite some time. That took hours. I listened to music while I typed — I’d forgotten how much I like Collective[…]

Went to the Mayborn Museum in Waco today, part of which is a “discovery center” for kids (“of all ages”), after reading reviews that some people liked it better than the McKenna Museum we recently visited in New Braunfels. It was an uneventful trip; we arrived in Waco in time for lunch at Burger King[…]
