Still sick today, but learning to live with it — as always. Feeling feverish, with chills, and a lot of nasal congestion. Some of the snot is blue. Dad came by the office this morning & I showed him around, but suggested that he come back some day @ about 1 p.m., so he could[...]
This morning I was sick — coughing & sneezing & feeling aching in my joints. It started sometime yesterday, but really hit me today. I was dizzy a few times at work, and hot & cold all day. Still, I went to work. Just after 9 a.m., I went west on SH 59, and took[...]
Today, I burned a CD for Brent Harjo, read in “The Stand”, and scanned in some more of my old photos. Just after noon, I went to the bank & cashed my last Wrangler check. It was an unexpected check, but apparently I’d earned it — it was the vacation time I had accrued but[...]
Another week has gone by & I still like my new job. Most days, I have an article on the front page, sometimes two, since I’m one of the two “news writers”. I’m still meeting new people and learning more about our county. When I got the job, I was thinking, “It’s a small-time newspaper[...]

For 5 days now, the United States, with the help of Great Britain, Germany, France, and other nations, has been bombing Afghanistan nightly, and dropping medical relief supplies during the[...]
Wednesday, I checked on my application at the Producer, to no avail, and got my application at Wal-Mart.
Yesterday, I got an application from the Seminole Producer, and visited Goff (a factory nearby).
