Family Visit

Over the weekend, Marline and I got to visit with my family at my parents’ house. Of course, there will be more of us there for Thanksgiving, but my one sister Shari and her family won’t be there, since they’re going to visit her husband’s family for the holiday.

So, we had a wonderful Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon, mostly spent entertaining nieces and nephews. The boys and girls are really growing up quickly, and it’s wonderful to watch. As you may have guessed, I got dozens of great pictures of them, and I’ve just added about 40 new photos to My Flickr.

Here are a couple of the cutest ones, which you can see larger on their Flickr pages.

As I said, I’ve uploaded about 40 pics this morning. The fastest way to see them is to head straight to My Family Collection on Flickr.

Also, football season finally ended in Seminole County, when the Seminole Chieftains lost to the Kingfisher Yellowjackets. All the results from the county’s football season are available on the football page of my website.

Now, it’s on to basketball season. Right now, only four schools are playing basketball — the ones that didn’t have football. In a week or two, though, all 10 local high schools will be playing basketball. For those that are interested, keep up with the basketball season on my basketball pages. (Internet Explorer users may have to manually change the settings to use any drop-down menus, since that browser apparently can’t tell the difference between an “attack” and a menu.)

Anyway, thanks to everyone for the continuing comments on this blog.
