Rebecca helped MF make cookies today, then she ate four of them.

I went out while they worked on that and mostly just walked around Home Depot. When I got back, Rebecca was very proud of herself and explained the cookie-making process to me. Later, she carried an empty cookie sheet through the house, placing toys on it and saying she was cooking. She wouldn’t let us touch it, saying “Ee too hot!” She called it “dinnee”, which I assume is “dinner”.

After a little encouragement, she finally added a consonant sound to the end of “mah”, which is what she’s been calling milk. Now it’s “mat”.

WEATHER: 42-64°F, cloudy, windy

According to one weather site, we set a record low today. It’s certainly the coldest I’ve seen in late April since moving to Texas.

EDIT, April 25, 2013:
I checked weather.com, which only shows the records for “yesterday”, and we did indeed set a record low for yesterday, at 42°F.

Such a fun age. Josh would not drink milk at that age without some strawberry quick in it. He called it “pink mook.”

    “Pink mook”: hilarious. :-)

Baking cookies is always fun, but especially so with little helpers.
