June 28 (Thursday): swam in morning; met nice couple from Massachusetts (visiting their son here); RLF liked them. Went to Dick’s Sporting Goods in afternoon, mainly because we’ve lived here three years and hadn’t been in there before; didn’t buy anything. Barely saw 100°F.
June 29 (Friday): swam in back yard, inflatable pool. High of 98°F, which actually felt pretty good in the shade.
It got a little over 100 here yesterday and it’s supposed to get hotter today and tomorrow. I am a summer person normally, but the Georgia heat is cruel and painful. I want to move. lol
LOL. As a kid, I was a summer person. As a young adult, I was a winter person.
Now I’m starting to think I’m an indoor person. :-)
I’m getting to that point also!
According to weather underground, we’ve had 4 days at 100 in June this year, and no measurable rain. It’s getting bad.
