Yesterday, workers completed two concrete walkways that connect our neighborhood’s walking paths to our cross street. For the last year, paths came almost to the street, but about 50 feet of broken ground separated paths from asphalt. That’s fine if you’re walking, but for a stroller or wagon, it was a tough stretch to cross. This morning’s walk was the first time I could push RLF easily from the street to the path. Very nice.

RLF was perfect all day, but grew fussy after Mommy came home. Teething again? Hard to tell. She’s now in a habit of running to the front door and back if she gets mad. Most of the time, she works it off by the time she gets back. It’s very cute. And probably a good habit to get into: Just walk away, blow off some steam. If she can’t settle down, I tell her to go to her room, and she does. She’ll come out when she’s quit fussing.

    Wow, that’s pretty good!

Good for Rebecca! Good for her teachers. :)
The whole world would be a better place if we all learned to walk away from tense situations and blow off some steam. Even in important matters, if we can just step back, a lot of hostilities can be distilled.

    Thanks, both.

Mom, I completely agree. And it’s one reason I prefer internet conversations over person-to-person. :-) I have time to consider my response. :0-)
