If you remember me mentioning a couple of days ago that I was going to make a DIY light shed… I did, for less than $12. I blogged about the process here, along with five images depicting the materials and process and two images taken inside the light shed to show what it’s good for.

Weather: Last night, it dropped into the 40s before it was all said and done. It’s hard to get into rhythm with this back-and-forth seasonal shift. Every time I think Spring/Summer is about to break out, it’ll get cold again. One day I’m wearing shorts and a T-shirt, and the next day I need a jacket.

Last year by this time, I’d already started watering the lawn, because it was warm, sunny, and hadn’t rained but a couple of times during the winter. This year, not only have we had some decent rains, but more is on the horizon. If crazy weather shifts means we get more rain, then I’m all for it.

Today was a two-nap day and Rebecca was out of sorts much of the morning. But she ate all her food.

Today’s photo challenge was “in your car”. So I did a little PSA on texting-and-driving:

It’s cute when you’re a baby, just like running around naked or digging in the trash. And just like those things, grown-ups* don’t do it. (* Age and maturity aren’t the same thing.)
