Studies show that a person who lives to be 75 will have spent 1.5 years of his life in the bathroom (average of about 210 minutes per week). So it just makes sense for them to be nice places.

Back in November, we added a bathroom organizer (pictured here) to our second bathroom, and we kept talking about the nicer one we’d get for the master bathroom. Well, today we got it, and installed it.

It’s an “allen + roth” (I swear, that’s the brand, in lowercase) with glass shelves and a brushed nickel finish, so it matches our other fixtures.

We plan to purchase a couple of decorative items for the top shelf, but will use the lower two shelves for actually holding things.

Today, I also installed a hook in Rebecca’s ceiling to hold the hanging toy thing we bought at Ikea in February. Here’s a picture of it hanging. And we put a “restrooms” sign on the door of our second bathroom. Yes, my wife and I share a strange sense of humor.

Oh, and that trip to Ross the other day? It produced this:
