Going “Home” Again :
It seems like were in Oklahoma just last month… ( We were ). But we’re going back again, starting tomorrow.
As was the case with Thanksgiving, my wife is working many back-to-back days through the holidays, while long-time employees are off work on the choice days. But the arrangement still allows her to have several days off in a row (as long as they’re not on the actual holidays).
We’re leaving in the morning, and hope to be in Seminole County by early afternoon.
We’ll come back to Killeen on Monday.

Today, I had a very simple and very short shopping list. I was supposed to buy deoderant, batteries, and sewing needles (couldn’t find the ones at home). Three things. I got the deodorant, found the batteries, and then asked a salesperson to point me in the direction of the sewing supplies. I found a nice small pack of 25 assorted needles for $2.
Somehow, when I got to the register to check out, I scanned the batteries and deodorant, paid for them, and left. I don’t know what happened to the needles. They’re probably sitting there at the store… I’m getting old, I know.
